Samsung Galaxy A12 With 48MP Quad Camera to be Launched In India on February 17, 2021.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 which was originally launched on December 21, 2020, worldwide has announced its India launch today. The device will be available in online stores from February 17, 2021.

The Specifications are as below:

Body

The device sports a glass front and plastic body with a plastic frame. The weight is about 207 grams and has a thickness of 8.9mm. A12 supports a dual SIM option with dual stand-by. It has a Li-Po 5000 mAh, non-removable battery with a 15Watt Fast charging option.

Display

Galaxy A12 sports a 6.5 inch IPS LCD with an HD-ready display(720×1600) resolution. It has a pixel density of 264 PPI.

Platform and security

The device is powered by Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 (12nm) chipset with octa-core (4×2.35 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. the security options include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Storage options and Pricing

Samsung Galaxy A12 has 2 storage options in India that are 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage and 4GB RAM+ 128GB storage. The 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage model will be selling at Rs.12,999. While the 4GB RAM+ 128GB storage model will be selling at Rs. 13,999. The color options announced include black, blue, and white.

The device has a quad-camera setup with 48 MP, f/2.0, 26mm wide, AF main camera. 5 MP, f/2.2, 123˚ ultrawide, 2 MP, f/2.4, macro and 2 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor. It has an 8 MP, f/2.2 front-facing camera. Other camera features include LED flash, panorama, HDR.
