Now, we have an official Asus ROG Phone 5 launch date that is March 9, 2021. Over at the official Asus Republic of Gamers website, you can find a page dedicated to the ROG Phone 5. There, you’ll see a countdown timer running down the numbers until March 9, 2021.
In the Celebration of a three-year partnership with Tencent, Asus has confirmed its next big gaming phone. There will not be an Asus ROG Phone 4. In Chinese culture, the number four is considered unlucky.

But, we have plenty of rumors to run on related to the ROG Phone 5. The specifications include Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is the most powerful one for Android phones launching this year. It has a huge 6000mAh battery which could support 65W fast charging technology. The phone will come with 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 11.
Much like the predecessor, Asus ROG Phone-5 will probably come with a 64MP triple camera system. The Main Camera will sport a 64MP Sony sensor. The device will have a 6.78-inch OLED display on the phone with a refresh rate maxing out at 144Hz for the high-end gaming experience.
Tencent is the world’s largest video game vendor & has completed 3 years partnership with Asus. There is going to be a piece of good news for Pubg addicts who are buying this phone! There will be a special PUBG edition of the device. The device will offer a matrix display at the back to show alert notifications.
